Many graduating members of NEHS have submitted applications and essays competing for NEHS Scholarships from the $75,000 USD fund available this year.
Once applications have been verified for accuracy, chapters confirmed as active, and applicants confirmed as enrolled in NEHS Connect, submissions will be distributed to evaluators across the globe. Each submission will be reviewed and scored by three readers, each of whom reads without knowledge of the scores given by other judges. Once this process is completed, scores are tabulated and then reviewed by the NEHS Advisory Council.
Final decisions will be emailed to applicants and their Advisors by Monday, April 10, 2023. Scholarship recipients will then confirm college or university destinations and funds will be distributed to student accounts at those schools in August.
