Kayte Nunn Common Reader Webinar
The next NEHS webinar, with Common Reader author Kayte Nunn, will take place on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. (CST).
Nunn grew up in England and the US and has lived in Australia for more than 25 years, initially working as a book, magazine, and web editor and writer. She has more than two decades of publishing experience and is the former editor of Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine. She has written four works of historical fiction, The Botanist’s Daughter (the 2024 NEHS Common Reader), The Forgotten Letters of Esther Durrant, The Silk House, and The Last Reunion. Her latest novel, The Only Child, is a contemporary-historical crime mystery.
Nunn will be responding to YOUR questions about her inspiration for her novels, her writing style and creative process, and her experience as an editor. This is a unique opportunity to ask an author the questions you have always wanted to have answered!
NEHS offers one-year, non-renewing scholarships from a $75,000 fund to graduating NEHS seniors planning to study any subject at a two-year or four-year college/university anywhere in the world. All applicants for NEHS Scholarships are required to read the Common Reader, Nunn’s The Botanist’s Daughter, and submit an original essay based on one of the prompts provided in November by the Advisory Council.
