Encouraged by the tremendous participation of NEHS members and Advisors in the writing challenges offered over the last two years, we again are planning a new Writing Contest for the upcoming year. We return to poetry as the genre for submissions; there will be five submission periods over the year, with all entries uploaded through the AwardSpring portal. Poets will be asked to frame their work within the context of one of two themes assigned each writing period.
The first submission window is from Tuesday, September 7 through Monday October 4; the initial themes are “Good vs. Evil” or “Connection and Separation.”
