Ryan Karpovage, English educator at Bear Creek High School, Lakewood, CO, has joined the NEHS Advisory Council as a representative of the High Plains region. Ryan is the new NEHS Advisor at Bear Creek and is working to re-ignite the school’s chapter; he is also the founder, coach, and media manager of the school’s poetry club, is the “big idea” project educator working with a multi-disciplinary curriculum, and is a leader for the Colorado Teen Literature Conference.
