Classroom Library Grants are intended to support “new to the profession” NEHS Chapter Advisors. The Advisor must be in the first five years of teaching. Applicants may or may not be recent college graduates; the Classroom Library Grant is intended to help new teachers, whether in their first years out of college or in the first years of a second career, to build a classroom library for their students. Five grants of up to $400 each are available. The window for application runs from June 3 – 17, 2019. Grants are awarded by July 22, 2019.
